Title Description:
Staalplaat is proud to present the eigth release in their "material series", this one by Kozo Inada. Now what is the "material series"? A series of CD's with microscopic, microwave, glitch, click or whatever it is called music. All CD's are packed in jewel cases with no printwork. All information is etched on the CD box itself. Inside special material is housed, like, in this case hallucigenitic plastic. The CD itself is a so-called AB CD: a small ring with music, and the outside of the CD fully transparant. This is not always a 21 minute or less CD!
Kozo Inada describes his music in terms of "perfect flow". Using computer
tools to create this sound, he's able to make quiet space audible and to
polish it into clear, perfect beauty.
Forthcoming works by Kozo Inada include a CD with 0* for V2 Archief, a
collaborative CD with Philip Samartisz for Digital Narcis and solo releases
for Selektion and Digital Narcis.
