Title Description:
Sound collaborators since 1994 when they began the electroacoustic ensemble Alial Straa. This album was recorded in 1998 as part of a pair of sister CDs, "Stria", released on Erewhon (Belgium), and "Confluence", due out soon on Intransitive (US). These works further an interest in physical materials and natural acoustics, composed into imbedded, altered and engaging structures. These pieces invite the listener to find his way through the reticulated and stratified development of a subtly unfolding, organic sound-body.
