Title Description: Parallel to his expanse oeuvre as an electronic 'ambient' artist, vidnaObmana always showed interest in the experimental and avant-garde, and related topics outside the music world. Continued interest for the darker and twisted, vidnaObmana seeks inspiration from the impressive Inferno poem by Dante. While avoiding the cliche, vidnaObmana extracts his experiences and fascination from his industrial-like phase by creating this new trilogy. A statement which honors his experience as an industrial artist in the early 80's and diverse from his previous outings with adding a lyrical reference to his new body of work.
Without all the details of drama, vidnaObmana focuses his work more onto the poetic quality of Dante's impressive work. "Inferno has been fascinating me for years and finally I dare to include bits and parts of it as foundation for a series of works. It's a significant work which unfortunately has been used too often in the wrong context so I hope this time I can portray it in a serene way, according to my level of perception and fascination for the poem."
The genesis of this trilogy, while musically vidnaObmana dives deeper into experimentation, is the fragile comfort of life and how close temptation monitors the right chance to infiltrate. While Dante's Inferno symbolizes the relationship to the devil, it's in daily life the ever-fluctuating balance between Black and White, Positive and Negative and Good or Evil.
