System Failure was assembled and recorded on a very cold and grey Chicago afternoon in December 2009. Its two tracks were made with analogue electronics, four-channel looping device, guitar, and percussion. Recorded directly to cassette. Steven Hess lives and works in Chicago. He is a member of Haptic, On (with Sylvain Chauveau), and Ural Umbo. He has performed and collaborated with numerous artists including Pan American, Fennesz, David Daniell, Stefan NŽmeth, and Robert Hampson to name a few. First edition of 50 copies.
