Title Description:
On the embarkment of a new Euro tour, Staalplaat finally releases a fine document of the previous tour, in 1998. Recorded one afternoon in the VPRO studios, this CD is a document of free-thinkers. Origami Artika, aka Benny from Norway, presents one long piece which is a cross-over of ambient, techno and drum & bass. Despite the lo-fi nature of Benny's equipment a well done set, which kicks the shit out of DJ Spooky and the like.
The Nocturnal Emissions took us by surprise, returning after 20 years to both Amsterdam and did a electro-punk greatest karaoke show, including 'Bring Power To Its Knees' and 'No Seperation'. A must have for any NE fan.
